TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, including text, images, logos, branding, and artwork, is owned by or licensed to Tattoo Realistic and is protected under Australian intellectual property laws.
Tattoo Artwork and Design Disclosure
All tattoo designs created by Tattoo Realistic artists remain the intellectual property of the artist and Tattoo Realistic unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Tattoo designs may not be:
Reproduced
Copied
Tattooed by another artist
Used commercially
without prior written consent.
Digital copies of tattoo designs will not be provided, emailed, messaged, or released to clients under any circumstances.
All designs are prepared specifically for in-studio use and are presented on the day of the appointment, where minor adjustments may be made in consultation with the artist. If the client wishes to view a design prior to the appointment, a paid consultation with the artist must be booked.
Design Changes
Once the tattoo concept, subject matter, style, and colour approach (including black and grey or colour) have been agreed between the client and the artist, the design will be prepared on that basis.
Minor adjustments may be made as part of the design process or on the day of the appointment. Minor adjustments include small refinements to composition, scale, placement, shading balance, or detail and do not alter the agreed overall concept or colour approach.
Any request to substantially change the agreed concept, subject matter, style, or to change from black and grey to colour (or vice versa) will be treated as a major design change and will incur an additional design fee.
The additional design fee must be paid prior to any further design work being undertaken.
Tattoo Realistic reserves the sole discretion to determine whether a requested change constitutes a minor adjustment or a major design change.
This policy protects the intellectual property of Tattoo Realistic and its artists and prevents unauthorised copying or use of designs.
2. BOOKINGS AND APPOINTMENTS
Booking Process
All appointments must be booked in advance
Consultations may be required before tattooing
A deposit is required to secure appointments
Walk-ins are not accepted
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed by Tattoo Realistic.
Deposits and Multi-Session Projects
Deposits are non-refundable
Deposits secure appointment time and cover design preparation and administrative costs
Deposits represent a genuine pre-estimate of loss incurred by Tattoo Realistic
Deposits may be transferred once only if rescheduled with sufficient notice
For multi-session tattoo projects, the deposit applies to the overall tattoo project and is carried forward to the final session. This results in the final session being discounted by the amount of the deposit previously paid.
For multi-session tattoo projects, each subsequent session must be booked and completed within two (2) months of the previous appointment.
If the client does not book or attend the next session within this two-month period:
The deposit will be forfeited, and
A new deposit will be required to secure any further appointments.
Where a multi-session project is delayed beyond the two-month period and must be rescheduled, any previously discussed or estimated pricing is no longer guaranteed.
Tattoo Realistic reserves the right to adjust rates in accordance with current pricing at the time the project resumes.
Late Arrival & Abandoned Appointments
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointment.
Late arrival may result in:
A shortened session, or
Cancellation of the appointment if insufficient time remains to safely complete the work
In such cases, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit may be forfeited. Full session pricing may still apply where the session proceeds in a shortened timeframe.
Artist Availability & Unforeseen Circumstances
Tattoo Realistic reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to artist illness, injury, emergency, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where this occurs:
Deposits will be transferred to a rescheduled appointment
No refunds or compensation will be provided for travel, accommodation, or time incurred
3. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOWS
A minimum of one (1) week’s notice is required to cancel or reschedule
Late cancellations will result in forfeiture of the deposit
No-shows automatically forfeit their deposit
Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings
Tattoo Realistic reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee where permitted by law.

All standard tattoos are subject to paid touch-ups at the studio’s current rates.
The complimentary touch-up applies solely to minor ink loss resulting from normal healing and does not cover changes to design, size, placement, colour, or issues arising from poor aftercare, sun exposure, friction, trauma, or client negligence.
Touch-ups:
Must be requested within three (3) months
Are subject to availability

8. FINAL DESIGN APPROVAL
The commencement of tattooing constitutes the client’s final approval of the design, placement, size, and colour.
No responsibility will be accepted for dissatisfaction raised after tattooing has commenced.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING
Tattoo Realistic may photograph or record completed tattoos for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes.
Clients consent to the use of such images unless written objection is provided prior to the appointment. No identifying features will be used without consent.
10. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
Tattooing is a permanent body modification. Results vary depending on skin type, placement, healing, and aftercare.
While services are provided with due care and skill as required under Australian Consumer Law:
Exact colour retention and symmetry are not guaranteed
Tattoo Realistic is not responsible for outcomes affected by client aftercare or individual healing response
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tattoo Realistic’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
11. CONSUMER GUARANTEES & REFUNDS
Refunds are not provided for change of mind.
Where an issue arises that may fall under Australian Consumer Law, Tattoo Realistic will assess the matter and determine an appropriate remedy, which may include rework or correction rather than a refund.
Each case will be assessed on its individual circumstances.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Tattoo Realistic may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, business operations, or services.
Updates take effect once published. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
